One of, if not the, greatest entertainers of our time; Michael Jackson, who has graced our ears with some of the songs that will go down in history as classics, will be buried today following his funeral in Los Angeles. Little children in Japan, Nigeria, France, Colombia, and pretty much everywhere - are aware of the humanitarian efforts this great icon has done as a service to not only America but to the world. We can only hope that he shared in the salvation that he tried to bring to those across the world. A savior from destitution, he still needed the Savior of the all. The closing speaker at the funeral perhaps said it best: even Michael Jackson, the "king of pop," had to bow to the King of kings. Though his faith is questionable, let's hope he is in a better place now - where a pervasive and destructive media cannot tear down his luminous character...

hat is such a beautiful thing that you have written there, and I totally agree. Michael Jackson was not just a performer, not just a father, son, and friend, he was a person who cared about others. The people who did not have enough to care for themselves. I believe that he will be greatly miss by everyone and at least his soul willl be at peace. There's not way for the media to destroy the reputation of such a good man any more. God Bless his family through this difficult time.
